GBAPS Rising Phoenix graduate with AAS degrees

Forty Green Bay Area Public Schools students in the GEAR UP Rising Phoenix program are graduating not only with high school diplomas this year, but with associate degrees.

GEAR UP Rising Phoenix is a collaboration between GEAR UP target school districts, UW-Green Bay and DPI WEOP, which provides students with a blend of dual enrollment, student success coaching and an opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree while still in high school.

Students from East, Preble, Southwest, and West high schools participated in the program this year and had students graduate with associate degrees.
