Summer and Fall Information

​​SUMMER HOURS
The Southwest main office will be open from 8 am to 2 pm Monday through Thursday  and 8 am to noon on Fridays.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 
The first day of school is September 4. It will be a normal day of school with ALL grades starting class at 7:30.

FALL SPORTS
All athletes must have Athletic Eligibility Paperwork completed and turned in to the main office prior to participating in any practices, games, or scrimmages. Forms can be downloaded on the link below or you can pick up a paper copy in the main office:

PARKING PASSES

There are a limited number of parking passes available. Please turn your application in as soon as possible to ensure that you have a pass for the upcoming school year.

You will be able to pick your parking pass up:
- during registration on August 21 (10-2 & 4-7), August 23 (2-6) and August 27 (4-6)
- between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday - Friday starting on August 27 in the Main Office

YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR PASS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Passes will NOT be distributed prior to 1st hour on the first day. If you have not picked it up by the first day, you will need to stop in the Main Office over your lunch hours or during your study hall.

SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

The Green Bay School District provides a free daily planner to all incoming freshman. We will have about 200 books to sell to the upperclassmen for $2.00 each.
*Individual classes may require further supplies or fees than those listed *

ART:
All Classes: Sketchbook (8 1/2 x 11” or larger), pencils, and quality erasers
Digital Illustration & Photoshop Fundamentals: Flash drive, an external USB port jump drive (minimum of 2GB of storage space)

AGRISCIENCE:
Notebook, writing utensil, and folder

BAND AND ORCHESTRA:
Pencil, tuner, basic supplies (reeds, rosin, drumsticks), concert black apparel (men: button-down shirt, dress pants, socks and solid black shoes/ women: dress shirt, dress pants, blouse, skirt, dress, and solid black shoes)

NURSING ASSISTANT CLASS:
Binder, watch with a second hand, black ink pen, small pocket notebook, shoes (clean athletic shoes, tied and laced-no open toes or heels, no clogs or crocs. Expenses during the semester will be a TB test, flu shot , state exam, subtle print age appropriate or solid scrubs, pocket hand sanitizer. Fees are subject to change.

MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY:
-5 inch binder and 30 packages of index cards (3x5)

LANGUAGE ARTS:
-Notebooks, 1 1/2” binder, pencils, pens, highlighters, and post-it notes/flags, loose-leaf paper

MATH CLASSES:
Math Survey, Consumer Math 1, Consumer Math 2, and Algebra Readiness: Notebook, folder, and scientific calculator, 1 pkg pencils
Any level of Algebra or Algebra 2: Graph paper, notebook/loose leaf paper, pencils, scientific calculator with fraction key(A b/c) such as TI-30X or TI-36X, some teachers require a 3 ring binder and dividers and highlighters.
Any level of Geometry: Graph paper, notebook /loose leaf paper, scientific calculator with fraction key(A b/c) such as TI-30X or TI-36X, compass, straight edge & protractor
Pre-Calculus: Graph paper, notebook/loose leaf paper, scientific calculator (optional: graphing calculator may be helpful)
AP Statistics: Notebook/loose leaf paper, TI-83+, TI-83 Silver Edition or TI-84+ graphing calculator
AP Calculus: Notebook/loose leaf paper, TI-83+ or TI-84+ graphing calculator

NAVIGATING SOCIAL DYNAMICS:
-Blue/black pen, 12 #2 or mechanical pencils, pencil eraser, spiral notebook, two 2 pocket folders, colored pencils or markers, glue stick, hand sanitizer, box of facial tissue, black/blue dry erase marker

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES:
- An appropriate change of clothes for daily activities (t-shirt, shorts, and socks)
- Tennis shoes
- Combination lock
- Cold weather clothing, sweatshirt and wind pants
- Swimming suit
- **An activity fee can be expected for units such as bowling and golf. This fee will cover the cost of participation and transportation. (This fee cannot be waived )

SCIENCE:
Notebook or loose leaf paper and binder, folder, scientific calculator

SOCIAL STUDIES:
1” binder, notebook, loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, 3 x 5 cards, folder, glue
AP History: 3 subject notebook or 3 separate notebooks

WORLD LANGUAGE:
ASL 1 and 2: 3 ring binder and loose leaf paper
ASL 3, ASL 4, French, Spanish 2, Spanish 3: Notebook and folder.
Spanish 1: Notebook, folder and hi-liters or colored pencils.
Spanish 4: 3-ring binder, page dividers, post-it tabs (any size), loose leaf paper, hi-liters or colored pencils.
AP Spanish: 3 ring binder , page dividers, loose leaf paper. Optional: head phones with a microphone
