Why Choose Southwest?

  • The heart and soul of Southwest High School is our academic achievement. With strong Advanced Placement and Concurrent College Enrollment Course programs, our students are not only prepared for college, but enter college with credits that save thousands of dollars.
  • The spirit of Southwest is generated from our co-curricular activities. A wide range of successful athletic, musical, dramatic, academic, and service-oriented activities allow our students to prove themselves beyond the classroom. We often hear students say that these activities are their most memorable, and the reason they feel most connected to friends and staff at Southwest High School. Our goal is to have every student in at least one co-curricular activity each year at Southwest.
  • We have a strong career and technical education program at Southwest, and partnerships with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
